Description of Functionality

Even without a touchscreen, you don't need to miss the comfortable features of a FISCON Bluetooth handsfree. The call lists, the phonebook and incomming calls are shown on the MFA+ screen in the tacho.

The menus on the MFA+ screen can be controlled with the buttons of the multifunction steering wheel or the wiper lever. The data are showing up at the full size of the MFA+ display.

With a FISCON Bluetooth handsfree for Volkswagen, your car allows for these functions:

Vehicle Integration
	Displays Data on the MFA+-Screen.
	Menu-driven operation
	Establish, accept and end calls. Mute, regulate volume and numerous setup functions. Everything is operable with the existing buttons of the vehicle
	Voice output through the vehicle speakers. With distinguished sound quality, no installation of additional speakers is necessary.
	Uses the amplifier of the car for speech and music. OEM soundsystems are supported.
	Operation via the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel (where available).
	Usage of the ring-tone of the cellphone*1 on the vehicle speakers.
	Automatic usage of the languages English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Portuguese, Czech. A lot of other languages are partially supported.
	All original functions of the vehicle remain unaffected.
	Optional microphone available, exactly matching to the OEM position in the dome light of many cars. Enables completely invisible installation.
	Uses the full size if the MFA+ screen.

Hardware, Installation, Maintenance
	Real Plug&Play. No coding of the vehicle required until modelyear 2009 with red MFA+ screen. Cars from 2010 require coding.

	Updates for phone compatibility can be installed via bluetooth with a Windows Notebook or Android Device.

*	The operation and display of data on the touchscreen of a Volkswagen radio is possible only with FISCON Plus. Using a FISCON Basic handsfree in combination with that systems allows for operation and display on the MFA+ screen only, not the touchscreen.

The system requires a fully graphical MFA+-Display with a format like shown on the pictures below. The color can be either red, white or colored. Touareg (7L) requires a wide screen color display as shown below.

Is my MFA+-Display supported?

We recommend the optional microphone for invisible installation into the dome light (36338-2). At a Volkswagen T5 it is required to verify if the dome light indeed has a slot for the microphone. This can be recognized by a grid in the light front panel. For the Touareg (7L) a special microphone (36338-7L) is available for cars with an opening in the dome light. For Touran and Caddy until 2011 a dome light with two microphone slots for telefone and voice dialling is available. Please choose in our shop which microphone has to be in the package.
